2011 U.S. News & World Report College Rankings

Do people still rely on these things when choosing where to go to school? How did your school(s) do this year?

My undergrad (Cornell) finished in a tie for 15th, and my law school (University of Miami, FL) finished 60th. Look up your school here:

and share with the rest of us.

My school opts out of these rankings, they make a big stink about them; but The Boston Globe did one last year and we came in around #65-70. My Grad school came in a #7 - MIT

(I guess the main reason was the fact that my school was so specialized.)

haha yeah i guess...its just the best school in KY i suppose. they advertised a few years ago that Fortune magazine put Centre in the top 10 schools in the country as far as success of its graduates, above schools like Duke, Harvard, and Yale. I suppose that's not as official as this list though.

Well, I don't know if the success of the graduates really factors into this ranking.
