Met Dave Matthews tonight ... He's in Blade studio in Shreveport, Louisiana all this week! Lots of musicians in there with him, but none were from DMB. Richard

Possibly. Though I'd rather he use his creativity with DMB till they are done touring then make another solo album.

ha, i'm from bossier, but live out of the country now. woke up to a bunch of texts from friends saying he was in town. had a friend meet him and jakob dylan at a coffee shop.

Awesome! Did you recognize any of the other musicians? If Dave is doing another solo album, I wish it would actually be solo with only him or maybe just him and Tim.

Yep. If he's going to record with a band in the studio, I would rather it be with DMB. Plus, I think an actual solo album with Dave or Dave and Tim would be really interesting.

He's contracted for at least 2 according to what people on here have been saying for years, so you sort of have no choice.

Why, Some Devil is a great record. Little change of pace is good.
Good point. It's honestly probably healthy for the band that Dave works with other people for a bit. It keeps things fresh.

He could be guesting on somebody else's record.

Fingers crossed for a solo album. That smile he gave you could mean anything, but it definitely means it's something he's not allowed to tell you

interesting on the rockbridge thing but seems a bit of a stretch, they're tiny

Maybe Dave is helping produce, interesting choice for a collaboration

dunno but def not the direction i would want to see him in solo
