I'm with you - I hate this thread spoiling stuff, even though now I am on AFFC. But this page, as well as the last few before it, are definitely safe.

The ASOIAF thread on the other hand... Stay away if you haven't finished ADWD. Not because we don't want you there - the more the merrier! - but because it's highly unsafe. We've taken to spoilering some things, but we definitely have looser tongues there.

i have $25 in BB rewardzone certificates. my cousin works there and he's trying to see if any stores still have the Stark edition. if not i'll pick up the regular edition blu ray this weekend

anyone else notice that in the show as well as the books that the less popular gods are the most believable? I mean there has been no evidence to support the existence of the Seven, but there have been occurrences that could be construed as evidence of R'hllor and the old gods of the north. Just interesting to me, as most of the characters seen to worship the Seven.

Very good point. I think it goes hand in hand with the fact that dragons are gone and all things magical have been banished beyond the wall. Also how many times have the KL characters brushed aside the coming of the White Walkers. They don't want to believe in the supernatural they want to believe in whats real. The seven to me are all based in humanity, where in reality its going to be the supernatural that save humanity.

So I just finished Season 2.

But I guess I shouldn't visit this thread much if people are discussing things that will happen later on in subsequent seasons (from the books)? Fantastic

I've just been watching the comedy central telethon show "Night Of Too Many Stars" hosted by John Steward for autism for a couple nights ago, and one of the things they were giving away for a certain donation amount (first they said $75, then it seemed to become $100) was a DVD copy of the pilot episode of GOT, but with commentary done by Tracey Morgan and JB Smoove, neither of them having ever seen the show :lol This is totally real.
