BUT i dunno if the new website starts up in April that would be TWO solid months with a release date at the end of May

does anyone remember how long the SU website was up until the album came out???

Tim's scheduled for many dates for the tour. That's the best I can say.

As much as I hate waiting, this is (big picture) fantastic news. Imagine how much the songs are going to evolve over the Summer, especially with Tim around. This frees them up to perfect the songs in studio after the tour if they want. I'm all for them taking as long as they need, if the end result is something comparable with the Lillywhite 4.

Most people are probably preparing the noose right now, but I actually see this as very, very good news. The guys aren't rushing this one :thumbsup

It is sensible marketing. I'm surprised and even a little sceptical about this news considering both album sales and ticket sales have declined, this information would benefit ticket sales which open this Saturday.

TR is playing at the 10k Lakes Festival on July 23-26, so he doubt he'll be making an appearance at DC on the 25/26.
