I'm very excited about this. This movie is probably the most unique take on Superman, I can't wait to see it.
I hope he gets enough money to finish the recreation scenes. |

This doc looks good but there's no way that movie would have been anything other than awful. It could have been so bad that it lived on as 'so bad it's good'... nic cage as superman is laughably bad casting and tim burton is not the right choice for a film like this.
Although a superman movie where the villain is someone other than zod or lex would be nice. Brainiac was a great choice and there was some really sweet storyboarding in that trailer but honestly it doesn't seem like a big mystery as to why it didn't get made. It would have been a train wreck with that personnel |

They're running this on Showtime. Really fascinating documentary.

I watched this online maybe 5-6 months ago. It was pretty interesting, coolest part was seeing the behind the scenes of them talking about their characterization of Clark, and also the making of the suits. The script and direction of the movie also sounded pretty cool, but, not surprisingly, very quirky in a Burton way.
