What is antsmarching.org?
antsmarching.org is a Dave Matthews Band (DMB) fansite run by fans, for the fans. It aims to be your one-stop destination to satisfy your cravings for all things DMB. Started in January 2002, antsmarching.org is now the largest band-focused music fansite on the Internet, unmatched by any other band community.
What's our special sauce? That's simple: Tour Central, our home grown database housing the most extensive records of any band's performances anywhere. Tour Central allows us not only to document and analyze performances and statistics, but also forms the foundation of many other features we provide. The Setlist Game, Show Downloads, Mobile Setlists, iAnts, and many other features all leverage the power of Tour Central.
Our goal as a community is to build something that's never been done before. We want to take the experience of a Dave Matthews Band concert; the energy, the excitement, the connections being made; and bring it to a whole other level. Our goal is to have every Dave Matthews Band fan be a part of the extended, year-round community that antsmarching.org provides.
Who are we?
Aside from the community, there’s a hard-working team behind antsmarching.org. The staff is comprised of Matt Yette, Jake Vigliotti and Joe Maliszeski. To draw some very broad strokes, Joe and Matt handle the programming and database duties of the site, and Jake provides the endless stream of knowledge and insight into the world of Dave Matthews Band. Together they form a team that is wildly passionate about creating and fostering the best community possible by offering features that are unmatched by any other community.
